Welcome Kevin Vazquez better known as BLOO a upcoming artist that was born in Puerto Rico but grew up in New Jersey and Virginia. He’s been making a name for himself with his biggest song “FIRE”.

How’d you get the stage name BLOO?

“I got my stage name from my favorite show foster home for imaginary friends.”

Did you have any other stage names before BLOO?

“My old name was el salvaje Rico because I started making Spanish music at first since I am Puerto Rican but I slowly found my love in different genres so I quit.”

What was it like growing up in New Jersey and Virginia?

“Growing up in Virginia was great for sure that small town vibe definitely helped me make my music. I didn’t like New Jersey as much as Virginia because I was always getting in trouble and the music I like wasn’t as popular there so It didn’t have underground shows that Virginia does so definitely didn’t like it it wasn’t that great.”

What was it like writing “FIRE”?

“Writing the song fire was actually pretty funny because I was going for the cheesy bedroom Pop vibe and I pulled it off and I had a lot of fun especially with the two other guys who are on the song that were really great X2 and lilithsoctober.”

What made you want to pursue music?

“The thing that made me want to pursue music was the fact that nowadays music is pretty terrible and I want to bring something great from the past. Only more polished and fresh which is why my music sounds like Midwest Emo combined with grunge just with a pop song Structure since it’s repetitive clean and commercial.”

Did any artist influence your style? If so, Who?

“Kurt Cobain, lil peep, Layne Staley, Wicca phase are the ones who influenced me.”

What are your goals before 2020 ends?

“My goal before 2020 ends is to Make the best modern grunge song yet.”
