How’d you get the stage name Kai Velli?

“My real name is Malachi I used the ending of my first name and took Velli from the end of Niccolo Machiavelli‘s name”

Did you have any other stage names beforehand?

“No”

What made you want to pursue music?

“I want to communicate my feelings with people who have or feel the same way and music is the best way for me to do that”

Did any artist influence your style? if so, who?

“Yes, Bob Marley and Goo Goo Dolls”

What was it like writing “Glass In My Foot”?

“It’s one of the realest songs I ever wrote. It was like getting weight off my chest”

What are your goals before 2020 ends?

“I want to continue to put out great music for whoever chooses to listen”
