Interview with Unfazed Ree

Meet the next 16 year old rapper out of Philadelphia, Tyree Jones aka as Unfazed Ree is one of the next up underground artist.

Where’d you get the name ‘Unfazed Ree’?

“The name unfazed ree came from my friends always saying that no matter what happened to me, I chose not to let it put me down. Also Unfazed is a mindset that allows me to be better than the way I grew up and not allow any negativity to stop me from pursuing my dream.”

What’s was it like growing up in Philadelphia?

“Growing up In Philadelphia is cool. There’s a lot of history here and you can feel the support from people who like my music. As far as the negativity, walking to the term or in the area in general I see a lot of what I don’t want to become like. Drug dealers, crack heads, and even people who just do nothing with their life”

What made you wanna pursue music?

“Music was always a thing I loved since I was a baby but I found that it’s a way for me to speak my mind freely and bring people together. Also I like the positive effects music can have on people and how a simple song can make someone feel Energized or get them through a tuff time.”

Did any artist influence your style? If so who?

“Some artist I would say that influenced my style is probably lil uzi, juice wrld, xxxtentacion, and Tupac.”

What are your plans for 2020?

“ My plans for 2020 is to start performing a lot and build my fan base in philly and nearby cities. Also to become a young artist to look out for on the up come.”
